02 Who we are
i-Fix exists so that a clinician in India never has to choose between an implant they trust and one they can afford to keep in stock. We build to the standard a surgeon expects anywhere in the world, and we build it here.
Our roots go back to 1973, when Kamal Encon Industries began precision engineering, and the implant portfolio followed in 2018. Everything is made under one roof in India, inside a quality system certified to EN ISO 13485:2016, machined from ASTM F136 ELI Grade 5 titanium and finished with our Nano Bio-Activated surface, developed with Psilox AB in Uppsala, Sweden.

Every series is machined from ASTM F136 ELI Grade 5 titanium inside one ISO 13485 certified system, and ships with its own IFU, catalogue, surgical kit and drilling protocol. A clinician should never have to choose between an implant they trust and one they can afford to stock.
Rooted in product and service excellence rather than scale. The range grows to match real clinical need, from bone-level fixtures to zygomatic systems and patient-specific implants, and it grows because surgeons asked for it.

Excellence here is a process, not a promise. Every series is machined, finished, inspected and documented inside one quality system, so the implant a clinician opens in Kochi is the same implant they opened last month in Jaipur.
A dental implant carries a clinician's reputation and a patient's trust in equal measure. That is the standard every decision is held to, from the surface treatment through to what goes into the surgical kit.
We publish what we can evidence and we say plainly what is still in development. Article codes, dimensions, certificates and notified body numbers are printed as they appear on the documents themselves.
Every implant is traceable to the batch it came from. When a clinician calls with a question about a case, someone here can find the exact part and the record behind it.
The range has been shaped by the surgeons who place it, and the surface was developed with Psilox AB in Uppsala, Sweden. Our distribution partners are treated the same way, as people we build with rather than sell through.
Zygomatic systems, patient-specific implants and an on-premises digital laboratory exist because clinicians asked for treatment options that a fixed size matrix could not answer.
